The company was founded by Curt Mangan who has a 46-year history with the guitar. He played and recorded professionally for many years, worked at and owned music stores, built and repaired guitars, taught lessons, wrote music and was Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the world's largest string companies for seventeen years. We only string the guitars and basses we sell with Curt's strings because we believe they are the best!
