George Lynch's Flame Charvel

The fine young gentleman pictured here is Mr. Nick Dozier.
Here's how Nick came to be featured in the 'Elk Diaries; I was wandering around the Paul Reed Smith booth in Dallas and I spotted what looked like a vintage Charvel case. My instincts were correct. Trying to both be nonchalant and keep my excitement to a minimum, I casually asked what was in the case and the answer shocked me, for the guitar inside is truly a piece of Rock-n-Roll history. It was just like I was Heraldo in Al Capone's vault but, I actually found something. Nick was excited about his baby- so was I. He went on to tell me how he acquired this rare and tempting pre- production Charvel that formerly belonged to a rock guitar immortal, Mr. George Lynch. He spoke of how he found this for sale on the Charvel forum and we both agreed what a wise acquisition it was. Also, he showed me the CD insert to "The Best of Dokken" and lo' and behold, this very guitar was pictured right there in front of me! I definitely had a burning- bush experience because, for this young man to be wise beyond his years could only be attributed to his mother, Janice for showing the young grasshopper the path to greatness. Nick, thank you for the Show and Tell- rock on....
