Parliament Funkadelic- 4/26/09, Atlanta, GA

Not to be outdone by a little 'ol Nickleback concert, Lee and I moseyed on down to the P- Funk show last night to see an old buddy of mine, Mr. Johnny Heintz and whatever else might show up. We saw a pimp with a couple of his ho's, some double OG, triple OG ballers from the early 70's, a Jamaican guy with dreadlocks down to his ankles and that was all before the show started! When the band did come out, there were 22 people onstage at one time and they were led by a 62- year old guy wearing a diaper. It was a blast and when George Clinton hit the stage, the roof came off the theatre and so far as I know, they're still playing. The pictures tell all and as for Mr. Heintz, he's the only guy I know (other than Lee's brother Slick) that's taller than Lee. No wonder my neck hurts all the time- I'm always babbling to giants....
