Frank E. Moates, A Fallen Comrade

Frank E. Moates, A Fallen Comrade

It is with sadness and condolence that we announce the passing of one of our industry's oldest and well- known dealers, Mr. Frank Moates. Frank was the owner of Atlanta Vintage Guitars for over 20 years and was once one of the largest vintage dealers in the Southeast. There truly was a time when nothing vintage passed through Atlanta without Frank knowing about it and his presence in the community will be missed. Frank lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, July 19, 2009 after a long, four- year fight and our thoughts and prayers are with the Moates family.
