Ed King
Item Purchased: 1965 SG Special

The initial phone conversation with the gentleman that bought this guitar went something like, "Hi. My name's Ed and I'd like to ask a few questions about your Special". I didn't know until the end of the phone call that I was selling this guitar to one Mr. Ed King, original guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd and writer of a little- known ditty called "Sweet Home Alabama". He's so laid back and pleasant, I could barely take in the fact that I was talking to one of the Founding Fathers of Southern rock and the deal was seamless. We're extremely proud to have Mr. King as a member of the 'Elk Nation- speaking to him is proof that selling guitars and meeting rock stars is what we were born to do! Thanks, Ed and welcome to the herd. Oh, if any of your guys or gals want to check out Ed's forum, please click on the URL link above to visit "Ed's Place".
