Item Purchased: Modulus VJ-4
We get a bass player here in the Elkcave and I get a big 'ol smile on my face. Not only is Wendell just that, but his journey to pick up this bass was a one-of-a-kind experience. It pretty much went like this: He got on a plane and flew out to Atlanta. Rented a car and checked out the city for an evening. Woke up the next day and drove out to see Lee and I. Played the bass and said "Yep, it's the one." Got back in his car with the bass, drove to the airport and flew back to San Francisco. I just shook my head because I'd never witnessed a trek like that before, but we're sure proud to have this bass monster as a member of our family. As an aside, his original VJ-4 was stolen out in California, so if you see a bass like this one in a pawn shop with no case, it just might be his. Bass brothers have to help each other out, you know. Thanks again, Wendell and welcome to the herd!
