Lee and I would like to personally extend our gratitude to one Mr. Ed Davis who today, found us worthy to take possession of the first guitar he ever owned, a 1964 Gibson Firebird III. Ed bought this guitar when he was just 14 years old, at his friend's dad's appliance store; Can you imagine walking into a store today where they sell washers, dryers, refrigerators and looking up only to see an assortment of Gibson guitars hanging on the wall? It's an impossibility in today's world but in 1964, it was just so and this unique story truly gives a new meaning to the words "one owner guitar". The pleasure of meeting you was all ours, Ed.
