If it ain't a "hell yeah", then it's a "hell no", as relayed to me by a close friend of mine. That's the kinda poetic verbiage that always makes me go hmmm. People, how many times in your life have you settled for second best? And on how many occasions have you bit your tongue 'till the blood ran down your face? The "judge" in you is always judging (yeah, kinda like when that drunk dude says something a tab bit blue in front of your woman and all you wanna do is pimp slap his ass, but it's a not the place nor the time kinda situation.) Secretly, you re-imagine that scenario like you were Clint Eastwood in "A Fistful of Dollars", talkin' 'bout, "My mule don't like you laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him."
Those hombre's laughing is all you remember and that leaves the bitterness that the "judge" inside you wants to judge you on; Yes, judgement, and your "second-rate" mentality. The "judge" says, "That is what you're worth," but I say you can do better. Stop the voices of judgement and realize this is but one life. Have you ever noticed when you put yourself first and don't sacrifice to the needs of others, you feel a certain way? Yep, that's right- there he is again. The "Judge."
Someone once wrote:"Invest in yourself first, expect nothing from no one and be willing to work for everything."
It must be the "reward in Heaven" ideology we, as human beings subscribe to. Like we have the need to believe in an apocalyptic ending. The word apocalyptic means "to unveil". The unveiling is of yourself and what you aspire to be. If you took a women out and she was a "10", would you take her to Dennys on your first date? Can't ya see (sorry, obvious reference to the Marshall Tucker Band) what that "judge" has been doing to me?
Stop caring about what other people think unless you can pay your bills with their opinions. This Deluxe amp should personify you and it will most defiantly inspire you. When you get to the point that you think you deserve the best this planet has to offer, then the universe will provide it to you easily.
Like Paul Stanley says, "You gotta treat yourself like number 1, do you need to be reminded?"
If so and you need to be reminded, then here I am, doing just that. Stop the judgement and realize you're worth the extra few pennies...
