1973 Fender Telecaster
There's nothing like the twang of an original Tele and these early 70's examples are a buyer's dream in the current vintage market. You can avoid the cost of a Maple cap example while averting the somewhat inferior workmanship of the late 70's guitars. Sorry to put it like that, but "the tooth is the tooth" as we like to say. This particular Tele weighs in at 7 lbs, 12 oz which is a good weight for this era. There is minor wear on the edges of the body, but the finish remains intact and playability of this guitar is still great. There are a few finish checking lines on the body and a few chips- heck, I didn't look nearly as good as this when I was 44 years old. There are a lot of hard miles on my carcass, but not on this Tele- it's a smokin' player and still retains the cleanliness required to be considered as an investment piece. It's completely original and ready for a new home- please call or email today for details or additional photos!
