Description:
Of all the Fender Custom Shop guitars ever produced, these Cunetto Relics are among our favorites. Everything about them speaks of quality and attention to detail and I love a guitar that, from across the room looks like it's actually 57 years old. We'll just let the details of this '60 Relic speak for themselves:

  • Weight: 7 lbs, 8 oz
  • Color Code: 804- Daphne Blue
  • Date Put Into Production: 94th day of 1997, 4th guitar in the batch
  • Fretboard Radius: 9.5"
  • Width at Nut: 1 11/16"
  • Neck Thickness: 0.80" at 1st fret and 0.93" at 12th fret

There is an excellent interview with Vince Cunetto that really spells out the details on how these guitars were made and it can be found at this link:

This package includes the original case, case candy, and COA. The Yamano booklet and rare FCS tag explaining how Fender was not trying to counterfeit vintage guitars are also present.Because of the difficulty in photographing blue guitars, the actual color is a bit lighter and not quite as bright as depicted in the pictures. The color is truly a faded, relic'd Daphne Blue. We believe that the new owner of this incredible Strat will be pleased from the first note struck, so please feel free to send or ask any questions you may have.
