Description:
Of all the years I've known Lee, I've only seen him have three guitars on the stand next to the fireplace in his living room. One was the 70's D-35 his Father gave him, the second was one of the 300, limited edition Ace Frehley Flamed Les Pauls and the third was this PRS. When he brought this guitar into the office to put on the website, I asked him why he'd had it on "the stand." He merely plugged it in and played it for a few minutes, turned around and said, "That's why." I got it- the guitar sounded quite excellent.

It has a great sustain and tone and I'm guessing it's because of the exceptional Mahogany body. Actually, everything about this guitar says "above the cut." The tortoise shell color is deep and rich and the 10-top has flames any high- end Les Paul would die for. Solid and flawless "wide/fat" Rosewood neck and fretboard, gold appointments, the package as a whole is one of the best values on the PRS market. You would have to see and play this McCarty to really understand why we like it so much and of all the questions I asked about this guitar, Lee kept coming back to its sustain and resonance. That may very well be what is sought after as the "true colors" of an electric guitar- what it sounds like before you even plug it in. Questions, comments and blessings are always welcome- we certainly can handle the first two and need all of the third we can get...
