Here is an official Elk “call to arms” for all our Fender Custom Shop collectors. This 2003 Custom Esquire was masterbuilt by the late John English and is # 3 of only four made in the run. It was displayed in the Fender Custom Shop booth at the 2003 Winter Namm show and I have to admit that it is one of the most unique Esquires we’ve ever seen. Everything about this guitar brings to mind words like “imagination”, “quality”, and “creativity”. We think Mr. Engligh really outdid himself with the creation of these four Esquires and this particular package is an incredible attraction for any collector of high- end, Custom Shop guitars. It contains a few items that only add to its mystique and uniqueness; There is a hand- signed business card from John English along with copies of the photos of the original owner with John and Bill Schultz. There are two pickguards and the case candy and COA, signed in red by John. I can’t recall the last time I saw that and we are very excited both by the complete package and opportunity to offer such a piece for sale. As always, please feel free to call or email with any questions or requests- we love chatting up guitars and acting like we’re working when really, we’re just having a great time!
